American Idol Season 11

Hi Alls...

I have nothing to do today, so I think I will jot down something about my fav show since Season 1, American Idol which now on its 11th season.

Yesterday, 29th March 2012 was a battle for top 8 spot. Amazingly, all of them did awesome especially Phillip and Colton (err..Heejun surprised me, totally).

My fav cotenders for the final battle are Colton Dixon and Phillip Phillips because they are awesome and has extraordinary talent (handsome some more..heheheh!!). For the girl, I love Hollie and Jessica but yesterday Hollie not that good and Jessica was so Pia Tuscano. Great voice but she did'nt have that WOW factor, the aura. chewahhh!!

So, my review (from the eyes of "orang buta seni")for last night Live Show.

Skyler Laine - Gunpowder and Lead by Miranda Lambert

She will be the next country star.  She reminds me to Reba McAntire, a country legend.  She's good but i doubted that she will be the next American Idol. Luck, who knows kan...the judges called her country rock chick..heheheh!!!

DeAndre Brakensick - Sometimes I cry by (??, malas nak google)

I like his voice.  J-Lo also love his voice.  Yesterday, he sang in falsetto all the way and I'm not a fan. Suka dia nyanyi guna suara dia yang lemak merdu tu..Sorry, I love u but maybe bottom 3 in today's elimination. Standing O from all judges.

Joshua Ledet - Without You by Mariah Carey

Gospel singing too common la .. tiap2 minggu macam dok dalam church jer bila dengar mamat nih nyanyi ... give him 2-3 more weeks (hope he's out today). Judges gave him Standing O.

Colton Dixon - Everything by Lighthouse

One of my favorite 2 boys. He sang beautifully with emotional filled in the air and he almost cried (or did cried). He never dissappoint me (yet) in the competition. My final 2. HE IS AWESOME!! Oh yes! Randy said "we could be looking at a contender for the title". Lebih kurang gitu la dia cakap. Mana aku nak ingat semua mamat tu membebel. Standing O from all judges.

Phillip Phillips - Still Raining by Johnny Lang

My fav too. Macam nama dia jugak, unik and performance dia penuh dengan karisma, aura kuat woooo!!! Aku follow dia jugak kat twitter @PPhillipsAI11. Silalah follow jugak yer...:p. He always true to his music. Music comes first katanya. Hope he will be in the finale with Colton. Standing O from all judges.

Hollie Cavanagh - Jesus Take The Wheel by Carrie Underwood

My fav girl.  Tapi performance malam tadi so and so jer..tapi better la than last week. Cik Adik ni, kedudukan dia dah goyang la kau rasa, tak macam mula2 dulu.  This week maybe Bottom 3 la kot.

Jessica Sanchez - Sweet Dreams By Shasha Fierce aka Beyonce

Mula2 dulu aku suka sebab suara dia power giler. Tapi skang dia dh jadik macam Pia Tuscano, AI10 contestant. Best tapi gitu jer la performance dia,  sama cam si Joshua ngan gospel singing tu. Kalau fan base kuat, mesti tahan sampai minggu akhir.  She's out of my list ler skang. Judges suka tapi kalau fans xde xleh gak...

Heejun Han - A Song For You by (??)

I marked him as the Korean jester of American Idol 11. Memang badut tapi suara best. He is a funny man and I like it. Last night nyer performance memang buat aku terkejut.  Kalau dia serious sesokmo gitu, performance memang kebabo giler...great job Heejun!! Standing O from all judges. Malam ni tak kuar kot, takde dia cam x berseri la AI11.

Elise Testone - Whole Lotta Love by Led Zeppelin

Wahh!! Dia nyanyi peberet song aku la..Aku suka cara dia nyanyi lagu nih but I'm not a fan. Ada ke takde ker sama jer bagi aku but she's gaining fans' vote, i guess.  Performance yang powerhouse gitu bukan semua orang boleh buat...aku pon ada la sikit nganga tgk performance dia semalam and she wowed me. Final 2? Maybe not!! hahah!!

Diorang pon ada nyanyi lagu as group..paling suka time Phillip (well), Colton (well again) and Elise give tribute to Stevie Nicks, their mentor this week.  Then DeAndre, Joshua and HeeJun took the stage and sang MJ's song. The remaining 3 girls gave tribute to Madonna.

Hope my Phillip, Colton and Hollie (maybe Heejun) will proceed to Top 8. Fingers crossed!  So, until next week's review..adios!!

Note : J-Lo, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson are C.R.A.Z.Y.!! 5 Standing O in a Live Show. Rasa macam Standing O tu dah tak bermakna apa2 pon. Aku rasa Steven tu just follow yang 2 lagi tu la, takkan 2 dah bangun dia tak bangun..hahahahah!!!! Steven Tyler, I LOVE YOU!!
